CCTV Examination of a Box culvert

Inspire (Structures) were required to carry out a detailed examination of a twin bore stone box culvert. In recent times the culvert has only been viewed from the ends due to its small size. Each bore being 575mm wide by 775mm in height.

Urgent defect in a previously unseen culvert barrel

Inspire (Structures) were required to carry out a detailed examination of a single bore culvert. In recent times the culvert has only been viewed from the ends due to its dia. of approx. 450mm and length of 78m.

Successful exam in a confined space

The bridge is 17m long, 1.2m wide with a water depth of 1m, and a clearance from water level to soffit of 1.2m. A man entry confined space exam was previously attempted but disturbance of the bed sediment released high levels of methane so the examination was aborted and Inspire (Structures) were asked to carry out the exam using a floating CCTV system.

Successful exam on a partially buried structure

Inspire (Structures) were required to carry out a detailed examination of a single barrel culvert. There was no previous detailed examination and no record of the barrel ever been viewed. On arrival, the culvert was found to be partially buried at both ends.
