The Weardale Historic Railway – DAKK CCTV Inspection

The Weardale Historic Railway is an 18-mile heritage line that runs from a connection with the main railway network at Bishop Auckland in County Durham to Eastgate in the Weardale Area of Outstanding Beauty. Now, a 16-mile section between Stanhope and Bishop Auckland has been restored for passenger and freight use.

Working in Partnership with Engineering Consultancy Services Limited, Inspire (Structures) Ltd carried out an inspection for assessment on the culverts on this line, using our own DAKK CCTV.

Our CCTV equipment is designed to access culverts and bridges without the need to dewater / desilt. It is also portable and lightweight and can be safely carried to site by two people, reducing the need to arrange track access or vehicular access.
